I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming bed and breakfast tucked away in the beautiful Glen of Aherlow. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Mary, the gracious hostess of Ballinacourty House. The room I stayed in was spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities I could ask for, including a great shower and a tea and coffee maker. The delicious breakfasts served each morning were a highlight, and the onsite restaurant offered fantastic food. The peaceful garden was a lovely place to wander, and the 18th-century coach house location added to the charm of the experience.

It truly feels like you're away from it all and surrounded by nature. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, with a fabulous view out onto the mountains. And let me tell you, the breakfast was absolutely delicious! The freshly cooked bacon was cooked to perfection, and the porridge was a comforting way to start the day. The location of this hotel is superb, it is set in a picturesque countryside surrounded by mountains. , the staff is friendly and helpful, willing to provide assistance at any time. Plus, the food served in the restaurant is delicious.
The rooms are very small, claustrophobic and hot, with limited ventilation. , the bedding was old and uncomfortable.
